She had no personal space, so she was extremely fearful of strangers and fiercely defended her own territory. Her fear initially appeared as aggression, which was completely understandable given her early circumstances. It took her eight days to realize that she is safe with us and has nothing to fear. Today she no longer bites, is not afraid of us, and is a true sweetheart: very affectionate, always wanting to be near us, and loves company. She behaves well indoors, has no separation anxiety, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Milaja is a genuine companion dog who has blossomed after experiencing love and safety. She can become the best friend for anyone who welcomes her and cares for her.
