His fur was severely neglected, so grooming him was a time consuming and challenging process, but he handled it well. By now, he feels much more comfortable, and the improvement is clearly visible not only in his appearance but also in his overall well being.
Based on his behavior, it is likely that he was previously kept mainly as an outdoor dog with limited close contact with people. Despite this, he shows no signs of fear or distrust. On the contrary, he is very open, friendly, and affectionate. He clearly enjoys the attention and care he now receives and actively seeks human companionship.
Vekni is an extremely kind and gentle dog who forms bonds quickly and happily engages with people. He is active and playful, enjoys moving around and exploring his environment, and loves shared activities. He would do best with an owner who can provide him with regular exercise and quality time.
He gets along well with other dogs and behaves in a balanced and social manner with them. He is not prone to conflict and can be a great match even as a second dog. On the leash, he walks calmly and nicely, pays attention to his handler, and is easy to manage.
